December 2025
On December 19, 2025 the Burbank Community Band proudly marked a major milestone when Assemblymember Nick Schultz formally presented the band with a Certificate of Recognition honoring our 85th Anniversary at our pre-holiday concert at Burbank’s Joslyn Adult Center. Presented before the full band and a packed audience, the recognition highlighted the band’s 85-year tradition of community music-making and its continued commitment to serving Burbank through free public performances.

On November 20, 2025, at his Food Drive and Open House, Assemblymember Nick Schultz presented the Burbank Community Band with a Certificate of Recognition in honor of our 85th Anniversary.

October 2025
The City of Burbank presented a Certificate of Recognition to the Burbank Community Band on October 25th during the Band’s Halloween concert. The award honored the Band for its 85 years of musical contributions to the community.  Presenting the award is Mayor Nikki Perrez and Vice Mayor Tamala Takahashi.
